YES, I’m guilty of not ‘posting enough’. Throw away the key. Maybe I’ll find the right balance of regular life, online and social media shi….stuff and creating the artwork that drives me wholeheartedly into all of the above. Then again, maybe I won’t. Time will tell, but I do at least have a good reason for being MIA the last week or so.
Get Your Jealous Britches On!
Cliff note for non-Southerners: britches means pants. It’s really the more graceful term. Either way, if ya didn’t know, now ya know! And you’re welcome!
Soooo why the jealous britches you might ask? I spent last weekend in Asheville, NC visiting the Downton Abbey exhibit at the Biltmore Estate. First off, the area encapsulating Asheville and all of the unique culture within this hipster bubble is the equivalent to the fountain of youth for art inspiration. Here’s a few shots I’ll be transforming from a photo to drawing or painting (some of these will leave you asking whaaa??, but I’ll delve more into why I picked each photo their respective individual posts as they come to life):
